Can a professional use Pro in a GIS?
Section titled “Can a professional use Pro in a GIS?”Pro and Pro HD allow internal professional use, including work in a GIS.
Can I deliver a full-resolution image or 4K export to a client?
Section titled “Can I deliver a full-resolution image or 4K export to a client?”Do not share full-resolution imagery or HD/4K image exports with third parties, including inside PDFs, presentations or videos.
Can I share a degraded image?
Section titled “Can I share a degraded image?”Degraded imagery may be usable with NIMBO informed and credited, plus the applicable source credits. This is not automatic permission or a requirement for prior approval. No numerical export threshold or automatic definition of degraded imagery is set. Contact NIMBO about ambiguous cases.
Can I provide statistics or vector outputs to a client?
Section titled “Can I provide statistics or vector outputs to a client?”Pro and Pro HD allow statistics and vector outputs in client deliverables, with NIMBO and source credits. Raw imagery streams, accounts, tokens and service access are not included.
What is the maximum permitted export size?
Section titled “What is the maximum permitted export size?”No numerical export threshold or automatic definition of degraded imagery is set. Contact NIMBO about ambiguous cases.
Does Discovery include NDVI and terrain?
Section titled “Does Discovery include NDVI and terrain?”Discovery provides evaluation access to Natural Color, NIMBO HD and terrain layers. NIR and NDVI are not included. Natural Color and HD test imagery is watermarked. Evaluation access does not include additional commercial or redistribution rights.
Is RADAR still available?
Section titled “Is RADAR still available?”RADAR has been withdrawn from NIMBO and is no longer an available layer.
How can I obtain Confidence?
Section titled “How can I obtain Confidence?”Confidence is available on request to Enterprise customers. It is not a standard included or self-service layer. Confirm delivery methods, coverage and available editions with NIMBO. The score definition, calibration and interpretation thresholds have not been confirmed.
Which HD version corresponds to June 2026?
Section titled “Which HD version corresponds to June 2026?”June 2026 corresponds to v1004. The policy for reprocessing past editions, changing data at an unchanged URL and retaining revision history has not been specified. Confirm the edition and revision before comparing archive data. The HD processing-version chronology does not establish that older editions were reprocessed with the current version.
When is a monthly edition expected?
Section titled “When is a monthly edition expected?”Monthly editions have an operational publication target of the 15th of the following month. Delays of up to two weeks can occur. This is not a contractual guarantee or evidence that an edition has actually been published.
Does the target date prove publication?
Section titled “Does the target date prove publication?”Monthly editions have an operational publication target of the 15th of the following month. Delays of up to two weeks can occur. This is not a contractual guarantee or evidence that an edition has actually been published. The represented month, source acquisition dates, actual publication date and last observation date are distinct. A target publication date does not confirm that an edition has been released. The catalogue export timestamp is not a product acquisition, publication, revision or verification date.
Can I retrieve numerical values from the NDVI render?
Section titled “Can I retrieve numerical values from the NDVI render?”The map NDVI is a colorized render calculated from the monthly synthesis. Numerical NDVI values are not directly accessible from that render. Calculating NDVI from the synthesis is distinct from averaging per-acquisition NDVI values. The 8-bit colors do not define a 0–255 to NDVI conversion. Numerical NDVI delivery and the NDVI statistics API are separate from the colorized map service. Their availability and access conditions have not been confirmed.
Does global coverage guarantee my area for every month?
Section titled “Does global coverage guarantee my area for every month?”No availability mask is currently supplied for Basemap. Its general coverage does not prove that every layer is available for every area and month. Check the requested layer, area and edition. NIMBO HD production is worldwide. Some areas with excessive cloud cover may be awaiting production. Worldwide production does not guarantee every area in every edition; confirm the requested area and month.
What does Traceability class 3 mean?
Section titled “What does Traceability class 3 mean?”Class 3: Two months earlier — M−2. Traceability classes describe calendar months relative to the requested month M, not exact acquisition dates. The class-assignment rule for pixels interpolated from multiple acquisitions is unknown. NoData and transparency behavior have not been specified.
Is 0.1 m vertical accuracy guaranteed?
Section titled “Is 0.1 m vertical accuracy guaranteed?”Native source resolution, served pixel spacing, encoding step and vertical accuracy are different properties. Vertical accuracy depends on the source. Vertical references, resampling and source-specific accuracy measurements have not been confirmed. Hydrological and other demanding analytical uses require corresponding validation. Terrain-RGB represents encoded heights in 0.1 m steps. This is not a 0.1 m vertical-accuracy guarantee.
